 RULES & REGULATIONS Access and Participation The Pageant envisages a non-refundable registration fee of GB £50 Sterling for delegates, who shall also be requested to meet the requirements and accept these present Rules and Regulations. Participation Requirements The Pageant is open to girls who originate from any of the 22 Arab States and reside in the United Kingdom, meeting the following requirements: - You must be female born
- You must be at least 18, and not over 26 years old as at 31 August 2009
- You must show an irreproachable behaviour, and in no way have been involved in actions outraging the public moral sense
- You should not have posed in the nude, or anyway have posed indecently
- You must not have taken part in pornographic or scabrous films, performances or shows, not even as walk-ons or extras
- You must not be under present or future contractual obligations of any kind, in the field of beauty pageants and similar areas
- You should not have authorised the use of your image or names in campaigns advertising products and services of any kind, carried out, to be carried out or to be continued in the press, or through posters, radio, TV, cinema, computer networks, or any other medium in the years 2009 as participants and including 2010 where it concerns the Title Holder of the Miss Arab UK, except for campaigns only carried out with written permission from the management of Miss Arab UK.
When filing their participation application, and throughout the Pageant, delegates must meet all the aforementioned requirements. Hence, should any delegate cease meeting any of such requirements during the Pageant, or should it be ascertained, during the Pageant that she does not meet even one of the above-mentioned requirements, the delegate shall immediately be disqualified from the Pageant, regardless of the current stage of the latter.
